Dayumm I love the sort of grimey bass you got in this one. Breakdown in the middle is chillded out and has a nice bridge with the following part. The pads you hear in the background hold the whole thing together.

One thing though: I know this is drum and bass, and your style can be quite chilled out and continuous, but I'd really love to see part of the second drop with something that makes it stand out more as a drop. This aside, pretty much flawless.

Really great song, keep it up!

Lubloom responds:

The basses were my favourite things to play with, especially the ones in the first drop. I made them for some unreleased stuff a while ago and I really wanted to actually put them to use for something :)

Not a bad shout, I think the second drop has weaker and less energetic bass than the first drop which kinda makes it feel less like an actual drop.

Thanks for the feedback and kind words!

Dayumm I like this a lot. Although, the mixing definitely needs improving (you can tell by the waveform.) and at 0:39 there is basically no bass, and that lead sounds a bit too detuned and squeaky on the ears. The kick impacts also seem to clip a bit.

Apart from that, and overall, the remix is great! Sonic blaster is a great song which I want to remix for myself. 4/5. It also sounds great in F Minor as well ;)

PS. If this is in F Minor, what key is Sonic Blaster originally in? :P

Xyhthisdi1987 responds:

The original key that Sonic Blaster was in was E minor. I only shifted this up a half step and thought it sounded cool.

As for the rest, at 0:39, I did actually have a bass, but even I noticed that it was a little bit quiet. I did also notice that the impact did clip a little. Maybe I'll do an updated version of this remix.

Anyway, thanks :)

This is a neat chilled out remix you have here! To improve, I would suggest sidechaining the drums and bass, and up the tempo slightly, but equally I like how chilled out it is. However, I have one question. How are you going to make your GD remix stand out from the million others there are? See what I mean? ;)

SkullPioneer responds:

Thank u :) ,I wasnt really planning on remixing this song I just rushed it and didn't but that much effort into it , which is why it doesn't stand out that much :p

This was a pretty good attempt! However, the mixing really throws me off, so maybe focus on that. Just keep the general volume down because otherwise the quality ends up sounding really bad on export. Keep it up:)

Sterben66 responds:

Thank ypu very much! I will keep that in mind.

I can't fault this at all, nothing wrong with it as such, it's just a bit boring and repetitive after a while. Maybe add a supersaw or something part way through following the normal melody to make it more interesting or something? I can't really complain, but I think it can be improved by adding more variation of instruments... like... its good, granted, but it doesn't really "wow" me or stand out. Keep doing what you're doing :)

PancakePocket responds:

Thanks! I wanted to keep it simple so I understand what you are saying! Thanks! :D

Really great, except I kinda dislike the bassy leads used in all of the song.

Twinky62 responds:

Thx, also this song is old so that is why it may sound kinda rare xd

This is amazing! Did DJ-Nate specifically tell you that its not allowed in Geometry Dash?

AlphaStormMusic responds:

Well, since GD 2.2 isn’t out yet, and Nate asked that we don’t use TOE 3 in GD until 2.2 is released, it seemed fitting for me to not allow this to be used in GD out of respect for Nate. He didn’t tell me specifically. Thanks all the same :)

This song is pretty nice. I like the style and synths used!
Here are the (small) thing I dislike
- That annoying 8bit style bass
- The crunchy cymbal snaps which seem kind of random imo (e.g the one at 3:23 and 3:34)
- Its repetetiveness

Not my favourite, but you got me interested in what else you have to offer :)

BossWilderOfficial responds:

Thanks. Got 30 or so more tracks posted so I'm sure you'll find something :D

Its pretty hardcore, and i'm generally not a fan of stuff like that, but actually this song is pretty good! - 1/2 Star just because it seems a lil too loud at some parts.

PS - The grinding wubs at 1:46 are SOOOOO gooood!

BeauXuan responds:

I didn't spend too much time mastering this one and it shows. Brickwalling. :P
Thank you so much for your review. :D

Kind of weird but I like it :) The funny thing is i've tried to use that santa sample in my Jingle Bells remix but I can't get it to sound good xD
